Adopt a Sister a Great Success!

By Melanie McBride

Gertrude Kistler Memorial Library wishes to thank everyone who came out in support of the Adopt a Sister Holiday event last week. Students, faculty, and staff visited the Sisters of the Holy Child Jesus at New Sharon to bring holiday cheer. We sang carols, had sweet treats, and passed out gifts from Santa. The Sisters of New Sharon were thrilled with their presents. They sent a lovely reply wishing all of us at Rosemont a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.

A special thank you to all those who signed Christmas cards for the Sisters. Your help was appreciated.

Christmas Caroling

All are cordially invited to the Adopt-a-Sister Christmas Sing-Along on Friday, December 6th.

Join Rosemont faculty and staff in spreading Christmas joy by singing carols to the Sisters of the Holy Child Jesus at New Sharon (located on Montgomery Ave.).

If you cannot attend but would still like to wish the Sisters a Merry Christmas, sign one of our holiday cards near the Library's Information Desk. Simply fill out a greeting and give the card to a Library staff member. The Sisters would love to hear from you!

Carolers will meet at 12:30 PM on December 6 in the Chapel parking lot.
